Record a cut, not a guess
Remaining length, remaining area and status all update together. Every cut is logged with a reason — sale, sample, offcut kept or waste.
Offcuts stay in stock
A kept remnant goes back as available stock with its own location, so it can be found and sold instead of re-ordered.
Dye lot and shade on every roll
First-class fields, shown wherever the roll appears, so batch differences are visible at the point someone's about to cut.
Packs counted the way you buy them
Packs, square metres and units per batch, with a batch reference and rack location, so a stocktake matches the shelf.
